Reduce heating and cooling needs
We take care of both the Passive house floor plans (Australia) and the Passive House performance modelling, ensuring the design process is integrated and efficient from the start.
Using certified Passive House software, we simulate how your home will perform—analysing insulation, glazing, thermal bridging, airtightness, solar gains, and ventilation. This allows us to fine-tune the design before it’s built, ensuring optimal comfort, energy efficiency, and long-term durability.
By modelling the design in detail, we aim to significantly reduce heating and cooling needs, resulting in homes that are naturally comfortable, filled with fresh air, and cost very little to run.
Our design process
1. Design Brief
Using our unique design brief questionnaire we learn about you, your wants and your needs, and how you want your home to function. This guides us throughout the project.
3. Concept Designs
5. Development Application (DA)
We prepare all necessary drawings and reports for Council approval and coordinate any additional consultants required at this stage.
2. Site Analysis / Feasibility Study
4. Design Development
Once a concept is chosen, we refine the design in more detail—considering materials, energy efficiency strategies, and your feedback to ensure every element works together. This is where Passive House modelling takes place to guide design choices.
6. Construction Certificate (CC)
We finalise the technical documentation and collaborate with engineers, certifiers, and consultants to get your project ready for construction.
