Drafting Services

Before we begin drafting, we assess your site to understand its unique features—such as orientation, slope, climate, and planning constraints. This helps us confirm that your design concept fits the site and complies with relevant controls. We’ll offer feedback where needed and suggest practical tweaks to help your design work better on the ground.

After DA approval, we prepare the technical documentation needed for the Construction Certificate. These are detailed, code-compliant plans that your builder and certifier can rely on. We collaborate with structural engineers, private certifiers, and other consultants to finalise all the paperwork and ensure your project is ready for construction.

Once the design is confirmed, we produce all the required plans and documentation to lodge your Development Application with Council. This includes site plans, floor plans, elevations, shadow diagrams, and written statements. We also coordinate any additional consultants needed at this stage—such as surveyors, bushfire assessors, or planners—to make sure the submission is complete and ready for assessment.

If your site and design meet the criteria for Complying Development, we can prepare all the necessary drawings and associated documentation to obtain a CDC through a private certifier. This pathway often allows for a faster approval process than a traditional DA, provided the project meets strict planning and building code requirements. We’ll help you determine eligibility and manage the process from start to finish.
